About Georgia Family Connection

The Hall County Family Connection Network (HCFCN) is part of Georgia Family Connection Partnership, a statewide initiative of 159 community collaborative partnerships committed to making measurable improvements for children and families in Georgia. The Family Connection Network has been present in Hall County since 1991.

  • Our primary goal is to ensure that all children and families in Gainesville and Hall County have access to quality services that promote healthy and productive lives.
  • The Network is a partnership of public and private agencies with broad community representation.  About 1/2 of the members are on the Network because of their job or position. The other 1/2 are on the Network because they are strong advocates for Hall County's children and families.
  • The Network continually monitors the status of well-being of children and families in Hall County.
  • The Network provides a place where open discussion can take place about the needs of children and families in Hall County.
  • The Network gathers, shares and uses up-to-date information, research and effective tools to make well-informed and accurate decisions about improving services to children and families in the Gainesville/Hall County community.
  • We are not a "program" and we do not administer or run programs.
